Two recent developments could open the door to greater transparency and openness in Delaware government, but legal experts warn that the state’s smallest towns might have trouble complying with the new standards.
Delaware will soon begin school requiring districts, state agencies and public bodies statewide to abide by a standardized set of open-records procedures and fee schedules under a bill approved by the Legislature.
