Founded in 1987, the Colorado Freedom of Information Coalition (COFOIC) is a group of organizations dedicated to promoting and preserving Coloradans’ Freedom of Information – freedom of the press, open government records and open courts. We monitor Colorado legislation, we educate the public and targeted audiences about FOI issues and rights, and we monitor open meetings/open records violations.
