Editorial: Bad year for open government (Wisconsin)

It's been a rocky year for open government in Wisconsin. From the state Legislature to the Walker administration to the state Supreme Court to various local governments, elected officials have time and again tried to close government's doors — or at least draw curtains over the windows — on the people who put them in office to represent their interests. Such actions are always a betrayal of the public interest and of the most basic responsibilities of politicians and government officials.  Continue…
