Delaware: Web transparency varies across state

Delaware’s municipal governments have websites that make it easier for them to share information with residents. But plenty of opportunities exist for them to improve transparency, encourage local businesses and let the public know about important issues.

Only three municipalities – the Kent County towns of Farmington, Leipsic and Woodside – do not have any web presence. Of the 53 sites that are online, it is a virtual crapshoot whether residents will find what they are looking for from their local government there.  Continue…
