Bryant signs law that removes gun records from Mississippi public record

From The Clarion Ledger:

Gov. Phil Bryant today signed two gun-related bills that impact concealed carry permits in Mississippi.

House Bill 2, authored by Rep. Andy Gipson, R-Braxton, says anyone with a concealed carry permit will not be fined or penalized if part of his gun is showing. There is legal precedent — though some argue not overwhelming precedent — that says as long as part of a gun is covered, even by the holster, then it meets the definition of concealed.
