2021 FOI Summit

The NFOIC Annual Summit was virtual in 2021 because of continuing concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

The three-day even, Sept. 28-30, included 25 sessions with more than 60 panelists and speakers, including comments by Sen. Patrick Leahy, a longtime supporter of the federal Freedom of Information Act. Most sessions were open to all 290 attendees, but some sessions were directed specifically to NFOIC coalition members to reinforce relationships and utilize tools to serve the citizens of their states.

You can get a taste of some of the panels by viewing the session trailers below.

Thank you to all those who attended and participated in the annual summit. We are especially thankful to our Platinum Sponsor, Bloomberg LP.

Our next summit — also virtual — will be held Oct. 18-20. We hope to be back in-person in Louisville in 2023.
