State cop transfers disputed records as part of sheriff probe

From Athens News:  A thorny dispute over Athens County Sheriff Pat Kelly’s allegedly improper disposal of county records continues to evolve on a daily basis.

With the Ohio Attorney General’s office apparently taking a close interest in the allegations against Kelly, an agent from the state Bureau of Criminal Investigation paid a visit on short notice to Athens Thursday afternoon, to supervise the loading of 20 banker’s boxes worth of documents into two vehicles to be transported to a BCI office.
