Wired is teaming up with the Omidyar Network and the UK'sDepartment for International Development (DfiD) to host Open Up!, a day exploring the fast-growing field of transparency and open government on 13 November.
Government figures, entrepreneurs and civic citizens will come together to discuss and debate the fast-moving field of government accountability, in a world where citizens are increasingly able to use new technology to both engage with, and keep tabs on, those in power. The moderator for the day will be Wired's very-own editor David Rowan, and a range of international experts will be flying in to contribute to the day's events.
