Illinois attorney general rules that Champaign school district should release complaint

From The News-Gazette:

CHAMPAIGN — The Illinois attorney general's office has ruled that the Champaign school district should release a complaint filed against former Superintendent Arthur Culver to The News-Gazette.

The newspaper filed a Freedom of Information Act request for a copy of the complaint in July 2010. Reporter Jodi Heckel, who at the time covered education for The News-Gazette, filed the request after school board member Greg Novak mentioned the document at a July school board meeting. The complaint was made by a district employee against Culver.
