Espacios Abiertos

Espacios Abiertos is a not for profit, independent, non-partisan organization, created in 2014 to bring about long-term systemic change and socio-economic justice in Puerto Rico through transparency and government accountability; civic engagement; fiscal analysis and advocacy. Our work is grounded on the belief that an open, transparent and more democratic society will make for a more just and equitable Puerto Rico. We seek to generate change in public policies by informing the public debate, educating our audiences, and strengthening the civic capacities of individuals, organizations, and communities. We use multiple strategies and tools to reach broad and diverse audiences, from stakeholders to grassroots. The focus of our work is on fiscal issues.
